Customizing SAP R3 refers to the adaptation of a standard ERP to the needs of a client or the mapping of business processes to SAP business processes of the client. Customizing (IMG settings) can be modularized in Reference IMG (SAP Standard settings), Enterprise IMG (parameters relevant to the customer / organization), Project IMG (only relevant parameters for the particular project). This is done by functional and technical consultants using



1. Setting up structural framework or Definition / Assignment of various organization elements such as Financial control, Sales and distribution, Materials management, Production Planning, etc.

2. Critical parameters of customization to turn ON & OFF some screens and fields and to control of data streams in transactions.
